  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sanskrit.
  • Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
  • Bachelor of Arts with Sanskrit as an elective subject with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
  • Shastri (New Scheme) Examination.
  • Any other examination recognized equivalent there to.

Admission will be based on merit of the candidate in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Department.

1.  Sanskrit Literature related to Panjab and especially on Sikh Gurus.

2.  Relevance of Sanskrit Literature in Modern Age. Regarding above mentioned  areas :-

(d)    UGC Research Project completed.
